What is MyEngineer®?

MyEngineer® is your personal support specialist and IT consultant—one you can book just as easily as you would one of our apps. They’ll guide you through the entire lifecycle of your IT project: from feasibility and architecture to day-to-day operations and support when issues arise. With many years of experience in operating modern IT architectures, we know how to build, operate, and scale a system—and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

How can MyEngineer® support me?

Imagine having an extra pair of experienced hands at your disposal exactly when you need them. With just one click, you can call on one of our technicians—whether for monitoring, troubleshooting, or to take care of specific tasks for you entirely. Either way, you’ll save yourself a lot of time and stress.

What services does MyEngineer® offer?

Everything you need - be it support with technical difficulties or problems starting a new project. Sometimes it helps to have an outside perspective to give your project the kickstart it needs. We offer help with the introduction and operation of Kubernetes and cloud services.

How is the time spent using my MyEngineer® billed?

We bill in 15-minute increments, with each quarter-hour or part thereof counting as a full quarter-hour. For example, if a service call lasts 28 minutes, you will be billed for two 15-minute sessions. For 24/7 assignments, we charge for a minimum of two hours, plus a flat fee for travel and setup.

You can view your calculated times in the MyEngineer® view under the "Time Tracking" tab, so you're always up to date.

Is there a contract commitment or minimum term?

No. MyEngineer® doesn't require a contract. You book it exactly when you need support and pay only for the time you actually use. When you no longer need the service, simply go to your “My Apps” section and cancel it from there—it’s that easy.

Can I book a MyEngineer® for a SaaS app?

Yes, you can also book a MyEngineer® for your apps. If you're not sure whether your request qualifies, just send us an email—we'll be happy to clarify it with you.

Do I always work with the same MyEngineer®?

If possible, we'll connect you with your preferred contact person. However, since we offer 24/7 service, it's possible that they might not be available at that moment—after all, even a MyEngineer® needs to recharge their batteries sometimes. In that case, another equally experienced team member will assist you.

Is my MyEngineer® located in Germany, and is it safe to use the service?

Yes. We don't outsource any of our support services; we handle everything in-house. We're committed to providing professional and personalized service, and we want to make sure you get exactly the support you need.

Everything discussed stays with us. We have no interest in third parties, and all matters remain entirely in-house. Your data is also safe with us, so you don't have to worry.

Does MyEngineer® speak English?

Yes, and we're pretty good at it. If you're not a native German speaker or feel more comfortable speaking English, we'll happily accommodate you.

When can I contact MyEngineer®?

You can reach us by email and phone Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In emergencies, we're available by phone 24/7. And if it makes sense, we can even meet with you in person upon request.
